September 13 - 19: On a break?

Hello ARMY! 

What's this? A post when I said I'd be taking a break? Yes, apparently old habits die hard. (I blame Jungkook as it was his Calvin Klein ad that first caught my attention this week.)

As BTS (except Suga who joins later) returns to South Korea early this week, we see a few posts about them enjoying their time. Namjoon goes on a walk with his family. Suga posts a picture of Arih noodles in a Japanese market. V goes golfing (or at least shares pictures of a time he went). New advertisements with Jin are released. To finish out the week, they all perform on night one at the iHeart Radio Music Festival.

 

Housekeeping: 

-New blog host! Things may look a bit different around here, but the mission will be the same: to summarize BTS content for other busy ARMY. Working on getting the old domain working, too...

-Just like a certain tv show couple, it may be hard to tell I was on a break this week, but I definitely took a much-needed step back. Because of that, some of the information might be missing or feel rushed compared to past posts. 

-Remember, this blog is not a replacement for viewing original content, but rather should work as a launching pad into your own journey of discovery/streaming/appreciation.

Without further ado, a (general) summary of BTS content for September 13th - 19th:

Sunday: 

-Suga shares an Instagram story of Arih products in what seems to be a Japanese market.

Monday: 

-Teasers for Jin's Linage ad are released

-JHope posts on Instagram

-Jungkook shares a song on Instagram story

Tuesday: 

-OT7 picture is shared on BTS official Instagram with tag for iheartfestival

-Oreo & BTS sweepstakes cookie jar winners are posted

Wednesday:

-Jungkooks Calvin Klein advertisements are released (filmed in Tokyo earlier this year). He also shares another song via Instagram

- Namjoon shares images of his excursions on Instagram (birthday celebrations, hiking, museum visits, general Namjooning)

-One of the hair stylists uploads a video log of his time during the North American tour stops for BTS Arirang World Tour.

Thursday:

-Jin posts images of himself at the beach on Instagram.

-A photo from sound check at the iHeart Music Festival is shared.

Friday: 

-RM shares images on Instagram seemingly from earlier that year

-A second round of merch sales is announced.

-iHeart Radio Music Festival night one is broadcasted featuring several artists and ending with BTS. While not an event without some technical difficulties, the guys killed it with their performance of Swim, 2.0, Mic Drop, and FYA. 

-Suga posts a selfie on Instagram stories just before their performance.

Saturday:

-Jhope shares images on Instagram

-V shares a series of pictures to Instagram story including a wrinkle on his forehead he uses to spell his name and 2 weeks worth of underwear.

-Namjoon removes his Instagram profile image.
