We are less than two weeks away from Arirang's release! This week we got the tracklist, an OT7 interview, an epic trailer for the Netflix Live happening on March 21st, and more.

Sunday, March 1st:
-There were secret images of V wearing a backpack during what looked like a filming/photoshoot. Nothing official announced.
-Credits for the Record Store video with JK were released by @andyhillmanstudio
-BTS has now surpassed 1 Billion streams on Spotify and are the FIRST and ONLY k-pop act to hit this milestone.
-Because ARMY has been trying to stream BTS albums in preparation for Arirang, 2 Cool 4 Skool debut for the first time on the Worldwide Apple Music Album chart and "O!RUL8,2?" debuts worldwide at #90.
-Already, Arirang has:
1. Debuted at #1 on Spotify Global countdown chart (FIRST for any album at 564.1 thousand presaves) and held that position for six consecutive weeks
2. Over 4Million pre-orders in the first week
3. The first and only male act & group to surpass 3.8 million

-JK (presumably) accidentally reposts an Instagram reel remarking on the relatable self-challenge to carry in all grocery bags in one trip. It is later removed.
-JK is announced to be featured on L’OFFICIEL HOMMES SINGAPORE March 2026 edition.
-Behind the scenes of shooting the TirTir campaign is released
-A Brazilian fan who broke into JK's house has been arrested and prosecuted

Tuesday, March 3rd:
-Arirang's Tracklist is shared along with song credits including Spanish, Australian, American, and Korean producers. With these songs, RM will be the most credited songwriter in the history of the Korea Music Copyright Association at 244 songs. Jin is the only member not mentioned in the credits, but attentive ARMY know how hard he worked and that he will still shine as a valuable part of the songs' performances.
-Jin posts on Instagram in the birthday coat that V gifted him.
-Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, gives a speech mentioning BTS in a speech and eagerly anticipating the shows.
-Netflix shares a teaser for the Live Arirang trailer that features the members smiling, waving, and dancing in the hallway.

Aside from the members killing it with their looks, my other favorite parts are the shot of the staff and of RM with the umbrella and tiny silver spoon. The music playing is an impressive orchestral version of "Mikrokosmos". I haven't felt this way since the Avengers assembled in that one movie...
-RM shares Diplo's post about being grateful to work on Arirang. Several other producers post appreciation and excitement about the album.
-Google starts a BTS quiz that you can play by Googling "BTS" and clicking the ship in a bottle that appears in the bottom corner (works best on mobile devices). Each quest you complete gives you a card with an Arirang song title written in one of the member's handwriting.
-Weverse announces the single "SWIM" is available for pre-order. It sells out on Weverse within the first 30 minutes. (2026bts.com)

-GQ releases a 12 minute interview of BTS answering questions from fans online. They reference some old inside jokes and express excitement to preform Arirang songs. It is good to see them all happy together again!
-JK's Standing Next to You was preformed by an acappella group called The Harvard Opportunes of Harvard University.
-RM and V share a couple songs on their Instagram stories.
