Last week was not majorly eventful in the world of ARMY. Boy, have they made up for it this week (well, most of the members...Yoongi continues to remain elusive). From the #RunSeokjin Encore concerts to Jungkook's Calvin Klein advertisement, we have been blessed.
This week has been October 27th-November 1st. Here begins our summary:
Monday, 27th:
V posts pictures of the Vogue event at Paramount Pictures. He is sat in the front row next to Cynthia Ervio and other celebrities during the runway show. At some point in the evening after the event, he is spotted with a bouquet of flowers. Ever the princely gentleman, he gifts the yellow flowers to several lucky ARMY.
Jungkook attends a movie premiere of "At First Sight" with a pillow resembling his friend Cha En-woo who was an actor in the movie but is now serving in the military. He and many others laugh as he carries the doll away from the cameras.
Tuesday, 28th:
Jin goes live to sing "I'll be there" in their practice room. (Does "PTS" that is seen as decoration in the background stand for "Permission to Sing?) As he sings we can spot two figures darting in and out of the background. Jin later introduces the two guests as special directors: J-Hope and Jungkook.

Calvin Klein releases this video with a mostly-fully clothed Jungkook. The sexiness he exudes in this short video might remind some ARMY of certain Wattpad versions of Jungkook because of the dark room and moody expression. None can deny this man is FINE.

Wednesday, 29th:

Jungkook goes live again looking for his name on Kancho cookies. They are chocolate-filled cookies that have recently put out boxes with Korean names designed on the top. You can see Kookie purchased a bunch of them before ARMY could sell them out.

Namjoon makes history later that day by being the first Kpop idol to give a speech at the APEC CEO Summit 2025 event. You can watch his speech here. He addresses the leaders of important companies as a creator and artist and urges them to work together to support our creative culture ecosystem. He says he was lucky to meet the other members of BTS, Producer Hitman Bang, and ARMY who have used music as a shared language of life. He talks about the difficulties of crossing the cultural barriers with music as they moved internationally. He also discusses how inclusive Kpop is and compares it to the bibimbap dish. It's a really inspiring 11 minute speech!
Thursday, 30th:
RM shares "Two Rules for a Mature Relationship" as told by Alden de Basu (name may not be accurate). The two rules are: no one is perfect, and, it is normal that you will never be fully understood as an adult. (No picture here, sorry.)
Jungkook goes live to eat a burger with ARMY. It is a cozy rooftop date with Namsan Tower in the background.

Jin begins practicing for the concert. There is a video that is made by an ARMY outside the stadium with his song playing softly in the background. There is excitement mixed into the chill air. (The below image is from his sound check the next day.)

Friday & Saturday, 31st & Nov. 1st:

Jimin goes live to play a video game with V. They seemed to be interrupted by a thunderstorm when V dropped off the live. Jimin continues the live showing us he is eating well, brief guitar practice, and a Q&A.
Jungkook takes full advantage of the new Weverse update by entertaining ARMY with another search through Kancho cookies. While he has not yet found his name, he has found "Jimin", "Yoongi", and a controversial name he didn't share. May his search continue for a long time! After searching the cookies, he proceeds to play video games for over 5 hours.
RM posts a few pictures to his Instagram story including photos from a display by Seong-Hie Ryu (who I think designed the set of his music video "Come Back To Me"). Yesterday he posted a few pictures with friends in his story. Another image he posted is below and features a praying mantis that has shed it's old skin. Not only is it cool to see this stage of the insect's life cycle but it also struck me as symbolic. A shedding of the old past and beginning with a fresh start.
Lastly, Jimin and V announced they have finished recording for the new album. One step closer to the release!
