For Valentine's day this year we received a special gift from the 7 boyfriends...I mean members of BTS asking us the big question. No, not that big question, but "What is your love song?". Other highlights from this week include the first OT7 photoshoot where they look STUNNING and possible new theories regarding Arirang's concept! All of this contributes to excitement for the upcoming album.
A few housekeeping stuff: Yes, I changed my Instagram profile. No, I have not decided to change it everywhere yet. Yes, you can follow me on Instagram. No, I do not have Youtube, TikTok, or Facebook. Yes, I do have Ko-fi if you like my work and want to buy me a coffee. I would be very grateful as every little bit helps this site keep running! Don't forget you can also sign up for email alerts when there is a new post! Finally, I may switch up the site design/colors when the new album and concept photos drop. It is sad to say goodbye to this lovely purple but it seems red is the color for this chapter. (2026 note: This applies to the old website host.)

Sunday, February 8th:
-RM Posts on Instagram looking tall and fit. New wrist tattoo?
-Light stick presale begins, Weverse crashes and the items sell out within 30 minutes.
-Jin's song "Don't Say You Love Me" featured in an Olympic figure skating performance
Monday, February 9th:
-BTS returns to Korea from their trip.
-Pictures of a building with red and white tape and the words "What is your love song?" Appear along with a 6 track EP on Spotify. Each track is 58 seconds of silence each one titled as a different type of love: self-love, nostalgic, unrequited, healing, romantic, and fandom loves.
-V posts a song and wishes ARMY a good morning.
-Advertisement video clips of Jin and Igin released
-Weverse announces applications are open for attending the first return concert that will be filmed by Netflix on March 21st. Applicants must have bought specific types of albums to participate. 2000 winners will be announced and more details will be given later.

Wednesday, February 11th:
-(I couldn't find what specific day this occurred but not much happened on this day, so I will mention it here.) Rose walls are set up with 7,500 roses for ARMY and a secret message. These walls are set to appear in Seoul, London, and Los Angeles. On Valentine's day ARMY can pick up a rose from BTS.
-Also, there seems to be a texture added to the album and several people think it looks like magpies possibly from the Chilseok myth of two lovers separated.

-GQ (all over the world) releases short clips and images of all seven members from their upcoming March magazine edition. There is an accompanying article that I highly recommend reading. BTS will be the first Korean group to be on the cover of GQ US magazine and the first K-artist to be featured on the cover of so many magazines globally.

Someone pointed out that they gave us flowers and modern mixtapes for Valentine's Day and I think that is a very sweet thought! Apobangpo!
It was also discovered this week that BTS has now sold over 500 Million units globally (of all albums combined). They are the only Korean act and the only living act (the others are Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and Elvis). Pretty awesome!
