Hello, ARMY!
From V's birthday, Yoongi live, New Years OT7 live, and updates about the upcoming album, this week was very full!
Details that have been officially confirmed about the new album is that it will be released on March, 20th, have 14 tracks and tour will be announced January 14th with pre-order dates being released on January 16th. All seven members have contributed to the album to reflect the direction of the group moving forward after their military service. There is also a website here that displays a countdown where we eventually will be able to access tour and album information. ARMY continues to be on the edge of our seats!

Sunday, December 28th:
-Jungkook pictures from Elle Korea are shared. (He looks so beautiful!)
-YOONGI goes live!! He shows his black cat named Tang (a nickname derivative of the Korean word for "sugar") and proceeds to talk about the cat for twenty minutes.
-RM goes live in his remodeled house and discusses different things on his mind.

Tuesday, December 30th:
-V's birthday! He goes live three different times with all members but Suga (who was absent at the time). The members wish him happy birthday and he celebrates with cake and acting like paparazzi in the dance practice room. Some of V's friends cook for him later in the day.

Wednesday, December 31st:
-JHope does a photo dump of videos and photos from the past year.
-Members meet at RM's house to do a live at midnight. They almost break his couch and talk around each other, but it is good to see them together and happy. (Apologies to JHope for not getting a clearer screenshot.)

Thursday, January 1st:
-V starts the New Year by sharing a sweet message and jazzy New Year's song on Instagram stories, followed by his cringing reaction to a fan edit of him with a beard.
-Fans share the letter that was sent to Weverse Gold members that contains a hopeful message from each of the members, a logo, and a date (March 20th, 2026).

-All the members were silent this day and the next. Only a few advertisements with Jungkook, Jin, and V were released.

-Despite the member's silence, we got a long-awaited announcement on Weverse confirming details about BTS's 5th album.

There are many theories I have seen about the logo and what it means for the album. The release date is the Spring equinox. Many have pointed out the symbols are similar to things like "hello", "sun" (in Korean), and those on the South Korean flag. The lines might also represent the sequence of separation and reconnection between BTS and fans over the past three years. Who really knows until we actually hear the music?(Well, the members and staff do, but the wait and speculation is part of the fun of being a fan, right?) We continue to await the new music eagerly!
